Marc Landgraf Joins Open Space Authority

The Open Space Authority is excited to welcome Marc Landgraf as the new External Affairs Manager. In this role he will develop new public, nonprofit and private funding opportunities and conservation partnerships to support the Authority’s mission of preserving open space lands in Santa Clara County.

“We are delighted to have Marc in this pivotal role,” said General Manager Andrea Mackenzie. “Creative partnerships will serve as a cornerstone for our conservation programs and engagement with the community as we begin our implementation of Measure Q and the Santa Clara Valley Greenprint in 2015.”

Marc has been in the land conservation field for over 14 years, including nearly 7 years at Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST). As Director of External Affairs at POST, Marc built a broad range of traditional and nontraditional partnerships and also played a leadership role in the passing of Measure AA and Measure Q. Both of these measures will contribute significant funding to regional conservation for years to come. Prior to working in conservation, Marc was a design engineering manager at Intel Corporation. Marc loves spending time with his family outdoors – hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. He is also an opera fan. Please join us in welcoming Marc!
